The LongBow development board from Future Electronics is a fully featured development kit which provides a single platform on which engineers can compare, evaluate and develop code for 32-bit MCUs from a range of leading manufacturers. LongBow enables engineers to decide which MCUs are optimal for their application. The MCUs are compared easily and simply, by plugging daughterboards – known as Micro-Blox – into the LongBow base board. The first release of daughterboards are for NXP ARM7 and and Freescale ColdFire™ architectures. Removing the need for multiple evaluation boards and platforms, LongBow makes it easier and faster for busy engineers to compare 32-bit MCUs.
