Fast switching from isolated single-channel gate driver
The NCP51152 isolated single-channel gate driver from onsemi enables fast switching to drive power MOSFETs, and SiC MOSFET power switches.
Rated for 4.5A source and 9A sink current, the NCP51152 also features short and matched propagation delays in addition to flexible design options.
The NCP51152xA has a split output so that rise and fall times can be controlled individually. The under-voltage lockout (UVLO) on the supply voltage of the NCP51152xB is referenced to GND2 to provide a true UVLO. The UVLO can be set at 6V and 8V for driving a power MOSFET, or set to 12V and 17V for driving a SiC MOSFET power switch.
The 4mm SOIC-8 package of the NCP51152 gate drivers supports isolation voltage up to 3.75kVrms to provide an additional safety feature.
