Increase efficiency in power stages with Trench Schottky rectifiers
Fit for space-constrained power stages, the PMEG series of Trench Schottky rectifiers from Nexperia uses clip-bonding technology to improve switching performance and reduce leakage current.
The AEC-Q101 qualified PMEG Trench Schottky rectifiers cover a range of maximum reverse voltages from 40V to 100V, and maximum forward currents from 1A up to 20A. Dual configurations, including 2 x 2A to 5 x 5A, are also available.
Using Trench Maximum Efficiency General Application (MEGA) technology, the rectifiers feature reduced leakage current and improved switching performance compared to planar counterparts. The PMEG Trench Schottky rectifiers are also designed for a wide safe operating temperature range up to 175°C, with a maximum allowable reverse voltage significantly higher than that of competitors at extreme temperatures.
The rectifiers are available in a variety of compact surface-mounted sizes and use advanced clip flat power (CFP) packaging with a solid copper clip for reduced resistance and higher peak current capability.
