Compact surface-mount transducers produce loud sound output

The AST series of surface-mount transducers from Mallory are available in a wide range of frequency and package size options, in addition to the ASI09N series of surface-mount sonic indicators.

Mallory has added new surface-mount options to the line-up of transducers. The transducers use cutting-edge electromagnetic technology to produce a loud sound from a compact package.

Since these transducers do not include control circuitry, the application requires a square input wave at the designated frequency.

Mallory also supplies surface-mount sonic indicators which are equipped with integrated circuitry, simplifying the application process as the sonic indicators only require a dc voltage supply. These indicators incorporate electromagnetic technology which produces loud sound at low voltages from a compact package.
