Polymer tantalum capacitors provide high capacitance in small package

The TQS polymer tantalum capacitors from Panasonic Industry give long life and reliable operation at high temperatures of up to 105°C. The capacitor performance also excels in high-frequency applications.

The TQS series of POSCAP™ polymer tantalum capacitors from Panasonic Industry offer very low ESR of as little as 70 mΩ alongside excellent performance in high-frequency applications. The polymer tantalum capacitors provide a reliable alternative to generic tantalum capacitors. 

The TQS capacitors feature high volumetric efficiency, providing high capacitance in various small package sizes. In addition, POSCAP capacitors give high reliability and excellent resistance to high temperatures, making the series ideal chip capacitors for use in digital and high-frequency devices.

The high performance and reliability of the TQS capacitors are due to the novel construction, consisting of a sintered tantalum anode and a proprietary high-conductivity polymer cathode. 

The TQS series is supplied in two versions: 

  • 7.3 mm x 4.3 mm x 1.4 mm D15S package with 47 μF capacitance
  • 7.3 mm x 4.3 mm x 1.9 mm D2S package with 68 μF capacitance
