Ultra-compact power entry modules offer an inlet, line switch and fuse holder in a low-profile package
The industrial-grade DD11 and DD12 power entry modules from SCHURTER are ideal for applications with high transient loads, and meet IEC 60335-1 requirements for unattended use. Medical-grade versions are available.
The SCHURTER DD11 and DD12 power entry modules offer a streamlined solution for mains power delivery in low-profile designs. The DD11 and DD12 modules offer variants of this concept without and with inbuilt line filters respectively.
Both modules combine a protection Class I inlet, a 2-pole line switch and a holder for single or dual 5 mm x 20 mm fuses. All single elements within the power entry modules come pre-wired to save development and manufacturing time. Other versions of these modules are available on request.
For the DD11 this includes a 2-pole fuse drawer with shorting bar, a 1-pole fuse drawer with a spare fuse case and qualification to protection Class II. For the DD12, the addition of Class X1 and Y1 capacitors is possible for enhanced withstand voltage in the additional line filter circuit. Illuminated line switches, single-pole line switches and other rocker markings are available for both modules.
The ultra-compact power entry modules offer several mounting options for the best use of limited panel space. Both the DD11 and DD12 offer screw-on mounting via wings to the sides or on the top and bottom of the front face. This results in a maximum footprint of 51mm x 47 mm or 66 mm x 31.5 mm respectively. While the DD11 is around 1 mm smaller than this for both screw-on options, the DD12 also offers a snap-in mounting option for a panel footprint of just 52 mm x 32.5 mm. The cutout required for these designs is less than 50 mm x 30 mm.
The DD11 and DD12 power entry modules are made of black UL 94V-0 thermoplastic, with the DD12 featuring an aluminium case for shielding. Both series meet IP40 protection rating on the front side.
