Ultra-thin power solution from 80V, 0.6A synchronous step-down module
The ultra-thin MPM3572 from Monolithic Power Systems is a fully integrated power module with up to 0.6A output current and excellent load and line regulation across a wide input voltage range.
The input voltage is from 10V to 80V and the MPM3572 supports both positive and negative output voltages between ±3.3V and ±15V.
The MPM3572 step-down power module features constant-on-time (COT) control to provide ultra-fast transient response and simple loop compensation. The switching frequency is configured by an internal resistor, and an external resistor can be used to configure the switching frequency from 400kHz to 1MHz.
Integrated in the MPM3572 are protections against over-current, short-circuit, and under-voltage conditions, in addition to over-temperature protection with hiccup mode.
Needing a minimal number of external components, the MPM3572Â also saves space with an LGA package with dimensions of 6mm x 6mm x 2mm.
