The SECO-NCD5700-GEVB daughter card includes a high-current, stand-alone NCD5700 IGBT gate driver, with a FODM217D single-channel phototransistor optocoupler, and two FODM611 high immunity logic gate output optocouplers, plus all of the necessary drive circuitry. Any MOSFET or SiC MOSFET in a TO-247 high-voltage through-hole package can be soldered and testing.

The daughter card is compatible with the SECO-GDBB-EVB gate drivers baseboard for testing up to 3 half-bridge daughter cards simultaneously to compare performance.

This evaluation board features TO-247-4L type power software for NCP51152BADR2G and  NCP51152CADR2G gate drivers.

The NCPV51152 isolated single-channel gate driver features 4.5A source and 9A sink current. The gate drive is designed for fast switching to drive power MOSFETs, and SiC MOSFET power switches. 

Short and matched propagation delays are offered. The NCP51152xA provides a split output that controls the rise and fall times individually. The NCP51152xB has the UVLO of the common collector voltage referenced to GND2 to get a true UVLO.

The NCP51152 is available in a 4mm SOIC-8 package and can support isolation voltage up to 3.75kVrms. Another important protection function is independent under-voltage lockout for both-side driver.
