With the PSOC™ Edge E84 microcontroller from Infineon, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) can be taken to the edge with advanced ML hardware acceleration, graphics for human machine interface (HMI) and state-of-the-art security.
The security of the PSE846G microcontroller features a lockstep secured enclave in a low-power and always-on domain. Additional security is delivered to the Infineon Edge Protect Category 4 with Platform Security Architecture (PSA) Level 4.To support crypto, there is off-the-shelf trusted Firmware-M enablement, in addition to the Mbed-TLS for the transport layer security.
The Arm® Cortex®-M55 CPU in the PSE846G microcontroller features Helium™ DSP which is paired with the Ethos-U55 neural processing unit (NPU). There is also a low-power Arm Cortex-M33 CPU which runs with the Infineon ultra-low-power NNLite hardware accelerator and advanced HMI interfaces which include graphics.
