High capacitance in a compact package with low ESR from polymer tantalum capacitors
The compact size and low equivalent series resistance (ESR) of the 6TPE220MAZB POSCAP polymer tantalum solid capacitor, from Panasonic Industry, are achieved by the tantalum anode and highly conductive polymer cathode.
These features make the 6TPE220MAZB POSCAP capacitor suitable for applications which also need the capacitor to deliver high reliability and high capacitance in a compact size. The capacitor offers 220µF of capacitance with low 35mΩ of ESR in a small case size of 3.5mm x 2.8mm x 1.9mm, making it ideal for space‑constrained and highly optimized electronic designs.
POSCAP delivers low impedance down to 5mΩ, supporting a wide frequency response that enables excellent noise suppression, effective decoupling, and robust load‑transient performance in high‑speed systems.
