STMicroelectronics

The STM32U083C-DK Discovery kit from STMicroelectronics is a complete demonstration and development platform for the STM32U083MCT6 microcontroller. It may be used as a reference design for application development before porting to the final product.

The full range of hardware features on the board helps the designer to evaluate all the MCU’s peripherals including the USB 2.0 interface, segment LCD controller, capacitive touch-sensing channels, and temperature sensor.

ARDUINO Uno V3, mikroBUS™ and extension connectors provide for easy connection to extension shields or application-specific daughterboards.

The STM32U083C-DK Discovery kit does not require any separate probe as it has an integrated STLINK-V2EC debugger/programmer. The kit  is operated by plugging it into a PC through a standard USB Type-A or USB Type-C®-to-USB Type-C cable.

The board is supported by the STM32CubeU0 embedded software package.

Microchip

The DT100104 from Microchip is an add-on board for the CryptoAuth Trust Platform and other Microchip development platforms that contain a mikroBUSTM header. The board can be used to develop prototypes for applications which use the ATECC608B or ATECC08C CryptoauthenticationTM secure elements. This board offers an alternative to sample units that require a socket board for initial development and testing.

The DT100104 board features eight ATECC608C secure elements which are specified to provide Trust&GO, TrustFLEX, TrustCUSTOM, and TrustMANAGER functions. The board is supported by a user guide which provides a physical overview of the connections and switch settings implemented on the board.

Renesas

Renesas offers the RRH62000-EVK evaluation kit for the RRH62000 all-in-one integrated sensor module for critical air quality measurements. These measurements include particulate matter, total volatile organic compounds, indoor air quality index, equivalent CO2, temperature and relative humidity in a 46.6 mm x 34.8 mm x 12 mm package.

The RRH62000-EVK comprises the RRH62000 sensor module, an ESCom board, a USB cable and a quick-start guide. When the RRH62000 module is interfaced with the ESCom board, it becomes easy to connect to a Windows PC for plug-and-play evaluation using the provided software.

Microchip

The Curiosity PIC64GX1000 Kit ES evaluation kit from Microchip enables designers to immediately get started using the PIC64GX1000 microprocessor, which features four 64-bit RISC-V cores and is capable of simultaneously running a real-time operating system or bare-metal system alongside a Linux® OS.

The Curiosity PIC64GX1000 evaluation kit is well suited for testing MIPI CSI-2®, HDMI, SPI, I2C, QSPI, DDR, microSD and Gigabit Ethernet applications thanks to the rich set of breakout connectors and headers. 1 Gbyte of DDR4 memory is available in addition to the included 32 Gbyte SanDisk Ultra microSD UHS-I card for booting the Linux OS.

The PIC64GX Curiosity evaluation kit comes in a 4” x 4” form factor. The debug interface is provided via a USB Type-C® interface, and a USB 2.0 cable is included as part of the kit.

STMicroelectronics

The STEVAL-PROTEUS1 from STMicroelectronics is an evaluation tool designed for temperature and vibration monitoring. It is based on a 2.4 GHz multi-protocol wireless system-on-chip (SoC) which is suitable for performing condition monitoring in industrial applications.

The evaluation board simplifies the prototyping, evaluation and development of wireless industrial sensor nodes used in predictive maintenance. All components are mounted on the top side of the PCB to provide for easy mounting on other equipment. Comprehensive software and firmware libraries implementing vibration analysis in the time and frequency domains ease software customization and shorten time-to-market.

The main board includes the STM32WB5MMG ultra-low power wireless radio module. This module is FCC and IC certified. Based on the STM32WB55VGY wireless SoC, it complies with the requirements of the Bluetooth® Low Energy SIG specification v5.2, ZigBee 3.0, and IEEE 802.15.4-2011. The main board includes an STSAFE-A110 secure element which provides authentication and secure data management services to a local or remote host.

The board also features an IIS3DWB high-bandwidth accelerometer, IIS2DLPC ultra-low power accelerometer, and the ISM330DHCX inertial motion sensing module for vibration monitoring.

An external memory is connected via QSPI to the STM32WB5MMG module for data buffering and event storage.

The STEVAL-PROTEUS board may be powered by the lithium polymer rechargeable battery. It can also be powered via USB, 5 V at 500 mA, or a primary battery which is not included.

Application example firmware with dedicated algorithms is preloaded in the STM32WB5MMG Flash memory for easy demonstration of wireless vibration and temperature node monitoring.
