Deliver color impact to your designs with the portfolio of direct-mount color chip LEDs from Nichia. These LEDs offer high luminous flux density, as the surface of the light-emitting surface area matches the package size of the LED.
This simplifies design and assembly because these color LEDs do not have a conventional package, so they can be mounted directly onto a heatsink or a PCB. This direct-mount design enables high luminous flux density in addition to dissipating heat in compact lighting fixtures.
For direct mounting, the NSC series of color chip LEDs, in a 1.1mm x 1.1mm footprint, offers 4 colors of blue, green, red and brilliant red, with phosphor added to sharpen some of the colors.
Offering 11 different colors in a 1.7mm x 1.7mm footprint, there are the NSC chip LEDs. There are 3 blue LEDs, which includes azure, in addition to a bluish green and 3 green or lime LEDs, plus an amber LED. To deliver a strong red, there are brilliant red, red and the latest deep red LEDs which use phosphor to add impact.
With a 30mm x 30mm footprint, the color options offered by the NExx757 LEDs are blue, azure, blue green, yellow and red.
