Hybrid capacitors combine low ESR and high ripple current capability
The EEHZC series of hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Panasonic provide scope for space and cost savings in a wide range of automotive, industrial and networking systems.

The EEHZC series of conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Panasonic combines the advantages of both electrolytic and polymer capacitor technologies, producing a capacitor with low ESR, low leakage current, and high ripple current capability in small case sizes.
These benefits enable power-system designers to save valuable board space, improve performance, and lower cost. Typical applications for these capacitors include operating on the dc side of an inverter circuit, and the dc side of a rectifier circuit.Â
The EEHZC series comprises a wide range of capacitors covering a voltage range from 25Â V to 80Â V and various capacitance values. The EEHZC capacitors can be used in applications for various market sectors including automotive and industrial.Â
For automotive use, the EEHZC capacitors provide AEC-Q200 qualification. Vibration-resistant versions rated for 30 g vibration are available in capacitors with a diameter of 6.3 mm and more.
