Low ESR, long life and high frequency from a polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitor
To support miniaturization and cost reduction for high-frequency applications, the EEFJX0D471RE SP-Cap polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitor from Panasonic Industry packs performance into a compact size.
The SP-Cap capacitor uses a laminated structure to provide a low profile of 1.9mm, and a package which has 7.30mm length and width of 4.30mm.
With this small package, the EEFJX0D471RE SP-Cap capacitor offers a long lifetime, with endurance of 3000 hours at a temperature of 125°C, and 1000 hours in an environment which has damp heat of 85°C and 85% relative humidity.
In addition to the excellent temperature performance, the polymer electrolyte means that the SP-Cap EEFJX0D471RE aluminum capacitor achieves a low equivalent series resistance (ESR) of 9mΩ.
With temperature stability and ultra-low ESR down to 3mΩ, the SP-Cap offers ideal frequency characteristics which make it well suited for noise suppression and as a backup capacitor to handle load fluctuations around the CPU, even under high‑speed, high‑current conditions.
