Machine learning kit backed by dedicated AI development software

The PSOC™ 6 AI Evaluation Kit from Infineon provides for data capture with a range of sensors interfaced with a PSOC 62 microcontroller, and software to ease development and deployment of machine learning models.

The PSOC 6 AI Evaluation Kit is a platform aimed at engineers who are developing new applications which implement machine learning (ML).

The kit combines a board, which features a PSOC 62 low-power, high-performance microcontroller and various sensors for data collection, with specialized software for developing, training and deploying edge ML models.

Engineers who use the kit can evaluate the Infineon DEEPCRAFT™ Studio, previously known as Imagimob Studio, as well as various ready-to-deploy ML models. DEEPCRAFT Studio is a development platform for AI on edge devices. The unique and powerful modeling capabilities enable developers to make a custom edge AI model, or to deploy pre-trained models that need to be optimized for the edge or for specific hardware.

The Infineon ModusToolbox™ supports development with the PSOC 6 AI Evaluation Kit. Infineon supplies a board support package and code examples at its GitHub repository.

For real-world data collection, the kit includes radar, acoustic, pressure and motion sensors. The PSOC 62 MCU features dual Arm® Cortex®-M4 and Cortex-M0+ CPU cores, 2,048 kbytes of on-chip Flash memory, 1,024 kbytes of SRAM, and a quad-SPI external memory interface. The MCU also offers built-in hardware and software security features, and a broad set of analog, digital, and communication peripherals.

The PSOC 6 AI Evaluation Kit can be ordered with the part number CY8CKIT-062S2-AI.
