Miniature one-piece RFID module for space-limited mobile and battery-operated applications
As a one-piece solution for easy integration on the OEM board, the extremely compact TWN4 MultiTech Nano M RFID module from ELATEC supports near field communication (NFC) and is direct matched to an external antenna.
With components mounted on one side of the board, this module simplifies placement on the main circuit board by offering the option of surface-mounting featuring edge-plated pads or with connectors through-hole mounting. The low power consumption makes the TWN4 MultiTech Nano M RFID module suitable to support mobile and battery-operated applications.
The ability to read over 60 RFID technologies from low-frequency (LF) and high-frequency (HF) bands, including NFC, is added to the option of connecting the reader module with an external Bluetoothâ„¢ Low Energy (BLE) module. Firmware updates can be implemented in the field.
Apps which are executed directly on the module can be written using the powerful software development kit (SDK).
