Optically-coupled IGBT and MOSFET gate drivers offer high isolation ratings
The VOFD341A and VOFD343A IGBT and MOSFET gate drivers from Vishay support fast switching in inverter power stages. High peak output currents provide for fast gate charging and discharging.

Vishay has launched the VOFD341A and VOFD343A optically-coupled IGBT and MOSFET drivers in a compact, stretched SO-6 package which offers a high isolation voltage.
The VOFD341A produces a peak output current of 3 A, and the VOFD343A produces peak output current of 4 A. Featuring maximum propagation delay of 200 ns, these optocouplers are ideal for applications requiring fast switching and high-voltage operation. The gate drivers are particularly well suited to driving the switches in inverter power stages, and can be used to directly drive IGBTs with ratings up to 1,200 V/100 A.
