Ready-to-use security solution with I2C interface and PQC firmware update protection
The SLB9673 OPTIGA™ trusted platform module (TPM) from Infineon is a high-end turnkey security solution which is optimized to identify and authenticate network infrastructure devices and equipment, in addition to industrial machines.
Robust protection is offered by using post-quantum cryptography (PQC) to protect firmware updates, and this is in addition to the stronger algorithms which include longer key lengths.
The faster cryptographic operations feature asymmetric crypto up to RSA-4k and ECC P384, as well as symmetric crypto up to AES 256. There is also support for latest specifications of the TCG TPM 2.0 standard revision 1.59.
The OPTIGA TPM offers a high level of confidence through certification to the TCG, CC and FIPS 140-2 certifications, and integration of the SLB9673 is simplified by the Windows/Linux OS Pl.
In fast mode plus, the SLB9673 enables a transfer rate of 1MHz over the I2C interface, while fast mode supports 400kHz transfer, and the standard mode supports 100kHz.
