Save cost and energy with a sub-1GHz MCU and dual radio system-on-chip

Bring together a cost-effective RF solution with an ultra-low-power wireless MCU, low-current dual radio, and fluid flow sensing controller in a single system-on-chip (SoC), with the STM32WL33CBV6 from STMicroelectronics.

This high-performance ultra-low-power application processor supports RF wireless applications in the 169MHz band, 159MHz to 185MHz on STMWL3xxxxxA, the license-free industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) frequency band from 413MHz to 479MHz, and the short range device (SRD) band from 826MHz to 958MHz.

Based on a 64MHz single-core Arm® 32-bit Cortex®-M0+ CPU, the STM32WL33CBV6 adds 128KB of high-speed Flash memory, 32KB RAM and 1KB of one-time programmable (OTP) memory.

Use the rich analog peripherals and the USART, SPI, and I2C communication interfaces, 12-bit 8-channel ADC, analog comparator and DAC. Plus there is the integrated security of secure boot with write protection and storage of sensitive information in Flash memory with read-out protection.

To simplify design, flexible mapping of the seven channels supports direct data transfer between memory and peripherals, and from memory to memory.

Configure the STM32WL33CBV6 to operate standalone and manage the application code and proprietary sub-1GHz protocol stacks, or for network processing.

To support battery-powered applications, current consumption is managed by an efficient SMPS step-down converter together with transition speed between the low-power and active states.
