Save space and add reliability for longer life with mini snap-acting switches
The highly responsive ZMS mini snap-acting switches from Littelfuse feature a reliable snap action and offer an electrical life of 100,000 cycles as well as 500,000 mechanical cycles.
For applications where space is limited, the ZMS switches feature are in a compact, space-saving package, and are rated to handle 3A current, with an operating force of 130 grams.
The switches give different options for the actuator. A pin plunger actuator is offered on the ZMSH03130P00 SSC switch, and the ZMSH03130T10 SSC has a 0.25 lever actuator. Both switches have standard mounting, with no support post, and a single-pole double throw (SPDT) circuit.
Full IP67 waterproof protection is provided with the potted and wire version of the switch, and IP67 is offered by the standalone switch, excluding the metal terminal. The IP67 rating means that the switch is completely resistant to dust, in addition to being capable of submersion in up to one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
The long lifetime of these switches benefits applications such as PCB detection switches, communication devices and testing equipment.
The switch case is nylon with a PBT cover and actuator, and the contacts are 3A silver alloy with 0.01A gold plating. The terminals are silver-plated brass, and the lever is stainless steel.
