Simplify magnetic angle sensor design with two hardware kits and GUI software app
Supporting all magnetic angle sensors from Monolithic Power Systems, the EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff communication kit combines with a TBMA front-end board, and free GUI MagAlpha Software App, to test the MA600A and MA900 magnetic digital angle sensors.
To test the MA600A MagAlpha™ programmable magnetic angle sensor, request the TBMA600A-Q-LT-00A board. And to test the MA900 MagDiff™ magnetic digital angle sensor with stray field immunity, you can request the TBMA900-Q-LT-SPI-00A board.
To support the GUI, you can download the free MagAlpha Evaluation Software App. This is a Windows desktop application that works with the EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff communication kit and is compatible with MagAlpha and MagDiff magnetic position sensors.
Offering seamless connection to all MagAlpha and MagDiff TBMA test boards, this app streamlines the reading of the angle and read/write of the sensor to all configuration registers.
A correction table can be generated to increase sensor accuracy by connecting an optical encoder to the EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff kit. This enables the software to measure the error and to compute the optimal correction table.
The EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff kit comprises a microcontroller (MCU) board, two flat ribbon cables, and a USB cable.
