Surface-mount fuse offers high breaking capacity in space-constrained applications
An alternative to through-hole fuses with a high interrupting rating, the surface-mount Nano² 415 series of fuses from Littelfuse supports automated component assembly and saves space.
Littelfuse has launched the Nano2® 415 series of surface-mount fuses, which have a high interrupting rating of 1,500 A at 277 V ac.
This addition to the Nano² portfolio measures 15 mm x 5 mm, helping designers to save space in applications that require a small footprint, such as home appliances.
The 415 series fuses can operate over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C with proper derating. The eight-strong 415 series offers current ratings ranging from 6.3 A and a melting I²t of 200 A²s, down to 1.0 A and an I2t of 3.6 A²s.
