The EVLVIPGAN100WP is the STMicroelectronics 100W reference design evaluation board built around the VIPERGAN100WBTR. It implements a complete QR-flyback converter for USB-PD or other isolated 100W supplies with opto-feedback control. The board integrates EMI filtering, surge/overvoltage input protections and optimized thermal layout. Designers can use it to quickly evaluate performance and accelerate design cycles for industrial and telecom power supplies.

The STEVAL-3603BC1 evaluation board demonstrates a synchronous step-down converter design able to deliver up to 3A output current from a 3.3V to 36V input, with a 5V output voltage. The board uses the DCP3603BCMR in the thin SOT23-6L package and shows how efficient conversion can be achieved using the converter, an inductor, two small capacitors, and two resistors. It is suitable for power conversion in major appliances, smart metering, industrial 24V bus conversion, and general-purpose wide Vin power supplies.

Monolithic Power Systems

The EVM54313-BJ-00A evaluation board demonstrates the capabilities of the MPM54313, a triple-output, fully integrated power module which integrates an I2C interface. Each output can support 3 A, for a total of 9 A. The MPM54313 offers a complete power solution with built-in, power-on and power-off sequencing control, configurable soft-start, compensation, and various protection thresholds.

The nPM2100-EK allows for easy, code-free configuration of the nPM2100 PMIC through the nPM PowerUP application. The kit includes add-on boards and holders for AA, AAA, LR44, and CR2032 batteries for evaluation of different battery combinations. Settings can be configured via a graphical user interface (GUI) and exported as code for implementation in firmware. The board provides access to all PMIC functions including fuel gauge and power-saving modes.

The EVLGANSPIN1-3PH is a three-phase inverter reference design based on GANSPIN611 and an STM32G431RB Arm® Cortex™-M4 MCU at 170MHz, built for sensorless field-oriented control (FOC) of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) and brushless dc (BLDC) motors.

The board includes a 230V ac mains input filter and rectifier, uses a 3-shunt topology, and demonstrates typical power up to 400W at 16kHz with dV/dt tuned to 10V/ns for EMI and motor reliability. It provides UART, Hall sensor, and SWD interfaces and includes 12V, 5V, and 3.3V supply rails generated with VIPER06LS, with shunt amplifiers using TSV911ILT.
