Power Integrations

The RDK-1002 from Power Integrations is a reference design kit which facilitates development with the InnoSwitchâ„¢5-Pro family of flyback switcher ICs. It implements a USB Power Delivery 3.1 extended power range (EPR) power supply supporting loads up to 140 W. It operates from an input-voltage range of 90 V to 265 V ac, and achieves conversion efficiency of up to 95%. It supports variable output voltages in a range from 5 V to 28 V.

The NCD57252 evaluation driver board enables evaluation of the NCD57252, a high-current gate driver which can directly drive two independent IGBTs in any configuration. The driver provides 5 kVrmss of internal galvanic isolation from input to each output and functional isolation between the two output channels.

This demonstration board uses the AL17052, a buck converter IC operating from a universal mains input voltage, to build a cost-effective solution for high-voltage buck converter applications. The AL17052 integrates a 700V MOSFET and can work with a single-winding inductor and very few external components to provide an accurate constant-voltage output and good dynamic performance.

STMicroelectronics

The STEVAL-DIGAFEV1 evaluation board from STMicroelectronics enables designers to evaluate the performance of the TSC1641, a 16-bit, high-precision current and power monitor which has a MIPI I3C/I2C interface.

STMicroelectronics

The EVALSTGAP2SICS half-bridge board from STMicroelectronics enables evaluation of the STGAP2SICS, an isolated single-channel gate driver for silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs. The STGAP2SiCS produces an output drive current of up to 4 A, and offers galvanic isolation of 6 kV.

In the EVALSTGAP2SiCS board, the STGAP2SiCS drives a half-bridge power stage with a voltage rating of up to 1,200 V. The components are easy to access on the board and to modify.

The board supports negative gate driving. Onboard isolated dc-dc converters supply the high- and low-side gate drivers, with maximum isolation of 5.2 kV.

The configuration of the drive voltage can be easily selected from the following options:

  • +17 V/0 V
  • +17 V/-3 V
  • +19 V/0 V
  • +19 V/-3 V
