Power modules reduce development time for high-voltage power supplies
KYOCERA AVX produces a wide range of thyristor, diode and IGBT power modules with high voltage and current ratings, helping power-system designers to reduce the time spent integrating discrete power components.

KYOCERA AVX provides a variety of application-ready power modules which help OEMs to accelerate product development and reduce time-to-market for systems requiring a high-voltage and high-current power supply.
The families available are IGBT power modules, thyristor modules, and diode modules. All the modules are notable for robust performance in high-voltage power supplies. The IGBT modules are supplied in versions with a breakdown voltage rating of 650 V, 1,200 V or 1,250 V, and with a maximum current rating of up to 400 A. Maximum junction temperature is 175°C.
The diode modules are supplied with voltage ratings of 1,600 V or 1,800 V, and the thyristor modules are all 1,600 V rated. Maximum current in the diode modules is up to 700 A, and in the thyristors is up to 320 A.
