The EVALSTDRIVE101 is a demonstration board based on the STDRIVE101, a three-phase gate driver, and STL110N10F7 power MOSFETs. The board drives three-phase brushless dc motors. It can be interfaced with various STM32 microcontrollers through a motor control connector.
The board may be arranged in single- and three-shunt configurations, and supports field-oriented control (FOC) and six-step algorithms in either configuration. In addition, a Hall sensor connector and a phase-sensing network on the board enable the designer to implement both sensor and sensorless algorithms for motor control.
The EVALSTDRIVE101 allows full evaluation of the STDRIVE101 features, including the embedded comparator for over-current protection, and drain-source voltage sensing at each power MOSFET.
