The OPTIGA™ Trust M Shield provides a hardware platform for assessing the OPTIGA™ Trust M security solution in embedded security applications. The shield is designed for use with compatible microcontroller development boards and exposes the OPTIGA Trust M interface over I2C, allowing evaluation of secured key storage, cryptographic operations, and device authentication workflows.
The board supports testing of asymmetric and symmetric cryptographic functions, secured certificate handling, and protected communication channels used in IoT and industrial systems. It allows engineers to evaluate hardware root of trust integration without modifying an existing application board design.
The evaluation shield is suitable for examining manufacturing-time provisioning, device-to-cloud authentication, and lifecycle security use cases. It supports interaction with Infineon software libraries and middleware for secured communication, enabling validation of OPTIGA™ Trust M behavior during development, onboarding, and field operation scenarios.

The EVAL-FFXMR20KM1HDR is a gate driver board for driving 62 mm modules with Infineon’s latest CoolSiC™ MOSFET technology in a half-bridge configuration. It shows a reliable and fast controllability of such devices using the 1ED3890MC12M compact gate driver together with a booster stage to increase the driver output power.
The OPTIGA™ Authenticate NBT development kit from Infineon is ideal for the quick and simple evaluation of the OPTIGA Authenticate NBT using example applications available through GitHub. These example applications include code for smartphones based on the Android™ or iOS operating systems.
The kit simplifies the development of custom applications using a PSOC™ host microcontroller based on the example applications. After detaching the adaptor board, the shield may also be used separately for evaluation and application development using other MCU boards.
